If you are looking for some free St. Patrick’s Day activities, you have come to the right place.  And they’re free! We have created some great printables to help your family enjoy the holiday. You can grab the bundle at the end of this blog post.

This bundle has so many different activities. Each one adds a dimension of fun to St. Patrick’s Day that will make your family want to keep celebrating all month. Our kids have loved doing these activities with us. Let’s explore what is in this bundle of free St. Patrick’s Day printables.

Scavenger Hunt Bingo

We have created this St. Patrick’s Day Bingo Card. We made it to be a scavenger hunt bingo card, but after it was created we thought of so many ways to use it!

ADDITIONAL IDEAS

Bingo:

We have provided a blank bingo card that you can cut out and the icons and either glue or just arrange on your blank bingo card. This ensures a different game each time and allows as many players as you need.

Scavenger Hunt Bingo:

Print an extra page to cut out the pictures. Place the images around your house. Then, have your kids go on a scavenger hunt. After they find a match to their paper, they mark it off by coloring it, putting an X or adding a sticker (some shamrock stickers would add extra excitement to this game). The first person the find the pictures to make a bingo on their sheet wins!

St. Patrick’s Day Scavenger Hunt:

Print this page out for your kids. Place it on a clipboard and take it out with you on St. Patrick’s Day! Take it to the store, a party, or a festival. Then, have your kids find as many items on the page as they can.

Matching Game:

Print out two sheets and cut out the squares of pictures from both of them. Be sure to print these on cardstock. That way you won’t be able to see through the paper. Then, you will mix up the pictures face down and play memory. This is our kids' favorite way to use this page!

    • You can also print the Seek and Find page on the back for a fun St. Patrick's Day design on the back of your match cards.
    • Alternatively, you can print, cut, and glue the pictures to a green cardstock or construction paper. This will add an extra festive touch!

Don’t Eat Pete:

This option requires you to only print one page. Then you can use candy or a treat (we love to use Lucky Charms) to play Don’t Eat Pete. If you don't know how to play, it is super simple! One player leaves the room while the others choose one picture on the game board as "Pete." The player then returns and starts eating the treats one by one until they try to pick up the treat on the picture chosen as Pete. When they do, the other players shout "Don't eat Pete!" and the turn ends. The player keeps any treats they've collected, and the game continues with the next player taking a turn. It's a fun and suspenseful game that keeps everyone entertained! This is another favorite for our kids.

Like a Leprechaun

Read the little leprechaun book, then find out who is most like a leprechaun! This is a fun little activity that our kids love. All of them want to be the most like a leprechaun. Go through the list such as “Your birthday is in March” and “You enjoy playing pranks” to find out who in your family is the most leprechaun-like. This is also a great activity for a class party as it has the participants read the items and add up their scores.
