One Silly Goose Party Setup Details

The One Silly Goose birthday decorations we used for our party fit into the following categories. 

A round table with a pink runner features candles, dried flowers in vases, a photo frame, and gold accents; colorful balloons and decor are in the background.

Birthday Table Centerpieces

With white tablecloths and colorful cheesecloth runners, we set a clean base. We added colorful vases filled with bright pampas grass. We cut out the printable geese from our party bundle. Then we glued two together with a skewer in the middle. After that, we placed them in the vases with the grasses. It was a simple touch that added color and tied everything to the theme.

We added matching candlesticks and small framed photos of the birthday girl to finish each table. They made the setup feel warm, personal, and fun.

Balloons always add an extra touch of playfulness. We used balloons throughout the party. The colors we chose were vibrant with a touch of vintage. The color scheme was so fun for this party! Balloons were a great way to push our color scheme for this party.

One Silly Goose Balloon Arch

If you’ve been here a while, you know we love a good balloon arch. For this party, we created a One Silly Goose balloon arch that tied the whole theme together. We set up fabric-covered arches as a backdrop, then attached the balloons to the wall using command hooks and rubber bands. To finish, we gently tucked the fabric arches underneath the balloon display for a seamless look.

The one silly goose balloon arch framed the main party area beautifully and really elevated the space. We had the birthday girl open presents and do her cake smash in front of the arch. It made for adorable themed pictures, too!

Using a cutting machine, we cut out the words “One Silly Goose”. We placed this on some of the fabric-covered arches.

How to Make a Balloon Garland

We made a balloon garland as part of our One Silly Goose birthday decorations. To hang it, we taped the top of each balloon directly to a long piece of string, spacing them a few inches apart. This made it easy to stretch the garland across the space.

We hung one paper goose from each balloon, using string to attach them so they looked like they were floating in the air. Each goose had a different design, giving the garland a playful and unique look that fit perfectly with our One Silly Goose theme.

Birthday Cake Table

We did something a bit unique for this party. We set up a cake table with several mini cakes, each decorated in our theme colors. Every cake was a different flavor so guests could pick their favorite to try. It made the dessert table both beautiful and delicious.

The cakes were paired with a copy of the book Silly Goose, which guests signed as a keepsake. We thought this book was such a cute book that paired perfectly with our party theme.

Final Thoughts

The one silly goose birthday decorations were some of our favorites! All the components came together perfectly. Turning our space into a fun, and maybe even a little silly, party.
