Silly Goose Party Activities
Every good party has some fun activities! We love to incorporate some good, on-theme activities whenever we can!
We just love how these activities came together. The one silly goose party was a perfect party for the following activities.
Duck, Duck, Silly Goose
The classic game with a fun little twist. Instead of tagging the goose, each child tossed streamers at a friend and yelled, “Silly Goose!”
This game was full of giggles. The kids loved their turn to be chosen. We played until everyone had a turn. This one silly goose party activity was easy to play and just as easy to clean up.
Adopt-a-Goose Activity
This was the main attraction of the one silly goose birthday party. It was such a hit with all of the kids. The bonus of this activity was that it doubled as silly goose decorations!
The Adopt-a-Goose activity had 5 stations.
- Pick Your Goose
- Bubble Bath Station
- Collar Creation
- Build-a-Nest
- Adoption Certificate
Each guest needed to visit each station during this activity. The stations provided exciting little tasks to pamper their adopted goose.
Pick Your Goose
We bought adorable stuffed geese and We made sure we had one for each child invited to the party. At this station, each guest got to select their own stuffed goose. When writing this blog post we couldn't find the exact goose we used but the one below would work just as great!

Bubble Bath Station
At the next station, they got to give their goose a "bath" in tin buckets. The buckets were filled with cotton balls and ball pit balls. It was a cute setup.
We provided guests with loofahs and scrub brushes to clean their new goose. The real hit was the bubble guns. The kids got to spray their goose with bubbles to help it be extra clean.

Collar Creation
At this station, the kids crafted collars with ribbons, wooden tags, and stickers.
The kids made collars with a ribbon. We bought spools of velvet ribbon that matched our color scheme. This ribbon was perfect!
Wooden Thread Holder Rack
Sage Green Velvet Ribbon
Pink Velvet Ribbon
Fall Velvet Ribbon
For the tags, we used wood rounds that we predrilled holes in and attached stickers to the front and back.
The front of the tag says “Certified Silly Goose,” and the back of the tag had a place for partygoers to write the name of their goose. You can get the stickers in our One Silly Goose Party Bundle.
To attach the tags to the ribbon, we used some gold clasps. They were the perfect addition to these name tags.
1.5" Round Wood Cutout
Gold Carabiner Clip
Build-a-Nest
Next, each goose got a nest! We used some fun bags that had a window in the front. The kids filled the bottom with nesting material. We used sisal fiber for the nesting material.
We set out a sticker that said “Certified Silly Goose Nest,” a name tag, and a ribbon. The kids used them to finish and decorate their nests.
The nests were simple and so cute. The kids loved hauling their goose around for the rest of the party.

Adoption Certificate
There was an official adoption certificate for the kids to fill out. It included who was adopting the goose, their new name, and a promise to take good care of it. The kids loved writing down their goose’s name. We loved their creativity!
The adoption certifrcate really was the cherry on top. After completing all the stations and carefully caring for their geese, the kids had truly fallen in love with their new goose friends.
Goose adoption was the perfect hands-on activity for our one silly goose party! It also made for a built-in party favor.
Goose on the Loose Scavenger Hunt
This is a fun activity we planned, but when it came to party time, we didn’t do it. If your space allows for it, it would be really fun!
Guests are split into 2 teams and search for hidden geese around the party space. Each goose has a goofy task, like “flap like a goose” with it. After completing the task, they bring their goose back to a designated “nest” area and run to find more! The team with the most geese wins!
Our printable goose pictures from the decoration package would pair perfectly with this simple game. They’re easy to print, cut out, and hide around your space for a cute, themed twist.
