Robots are interesting and curious things. Even though we live in a world where robots exist, they still seem like an imaginary creation, which is why robot books are so captivating.

Bringing the idea of robots to life is something we did recently for a birthday party for one of our littles. It was the party of the century. And with a theme like robots, you bet it was futuristic. You can check out our robot birthday party here.

Robot Birthday Party

While visiting the library recently, we found some fun robot books. Then, we thought instead of doing a book club, why not just do some robot book activities that match a few robot books?

Our kids love robots, so fueling their creative minds for play while also showing them robots are everywhere (hello, robot vacuums) was what we set out to do!

Robot Book Activity

Robo-Sauce

We found this really fun book that invites the imagination to combine with the world of robots. It’s called Robo-Sauce. As you can imagine, it is full of creative ideas!

In this silly picture book. a kid creates “robo-sauce” turning everything into a robot. It is sure to captivate kids' imaginations.

We thought this book was such a fun read! Our little robot lovers wanted to read it again and again.

With this book, we have the perfect book activity! You can help your child turn themselves into a robot. They will love it!

We have a robot costume tutorial here. It walks you through the entire craft. This is a simple activity that our kids love doing. The robot box costume has provided many hours of fun for our kids. They love putting on their boxes and becoming robots, over and over again.

A group of children dressed as robots stand in a room. Each child wears a cardboard box designed to look like a robot with various drawn-on buttons, dials, and panels. Silver balloons are gathered in a corner, adding a festive atmosphere to the scene.

To add a little extra imagination, you can create some “robot sauce” of your own.

To create your robot sauce, you can either mix together some silver glitter (fine, chunky, and maybe some confetti style), then you can either make slime with it or shake it over your robot box to “bring it to life.”

This surely will provide your robot lovers hours of pretend play.

Other Robot Books

We have other robot books that we think are fun reads too. You can check them out! If you have a kid interested in robots, these books are some of the best robot stories out there.

We have collected both stories and informative books in our list. We like to keep a variety of books in our collections. Hopefully, you can find a robot book you and your family love!
